In his eighteenth year of ministry, Father Jojo comes to us after having served as Associate Pastor at Our Lady of the Fields-Millersville, St. Joseph-Cockeysville and St. John-Westminster. Most recently he served as temporary Administrator of St. John-Long Green, Hydes.
Welcome to Our New Teachers!
We are pleased to have Ms. Emily Mordini who will be teaching 3rd grade. Ms. Mordini studied Early Childhood Education at John Carroll University. She is a part of the Operation TEACH service program and currently working towards her masters at Notre Dame of Maryland in Special Education. She is very passionate about teaching the whole child.
We also welcome Ms. Lauren Freed who will be teaching art to all grades. Ms. Freed has a bachelor’s of fine arts, Ceramics from Penn Foster College. She has experience integrating STEM and art into daily lessons. She is eager to begin working with the boys and girls of St. Michael’s. Ms. Freed is beginning to plan a school wide art exhibit in the spring!
Mr. Ryan Satmary will be working with beginning and advanced bands on Tuesdays starting October 4th. Mr. Satmary received a degree in a Music Education from Towson University. He enjoys an active performing career as a freelance trumpet player in the Baltimore/DC metropolitan area, most notably performing as a member of the Lancaster Symphony and Brass Quintet in 2013.
St. Michael the Archangel School is a Roman Catholic Parish Elementary School serving students in grades part-time Preschool 3 & 4 as well as full-time PreK 3 thru grade 8.
