St. Michael the Archangel School is a Roman Catholic Parish Elementary School serving students in grades part-time Preschool 3 & 4 as well as full-time Pre-K 3 thru Grade 8. St. Michael the Archangel School, having met the requirements established by the AdvancEd Accreditation Commission and Board of Trustees, is hereby accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Council on Accreditation and School Improvement. The accreditation is effective through June 30, 2017.

The curriculum is geared toward:

• providing a total Catholic and Christian Education.
• following National Standards as outlined in the Archdiocese of Baltimore Course of Study.
• serving children from Pre-K through 8th grade.

The professional lay staff consists of a Principal, an Assistant Principal, 12 full-time teachers, 4 part-time teachers and 6 assistants. Our staff also consists of a Gym Teacher, a STEM Technology Teacher, a Reading & Math Resource Teacher, a School Office Manager, a part-time Guidance Counselor, and Advancement Director, a Registered Nurse and a Student Services Coordinator.

Our teacher-student ratio is 15:1.

The curriculum meets the requirements of the Archdiocese of Baltimore. Courses include: religion, mathematics, language arts, social studies, science, health, music, physical education, band, computer, library science skills, and Spanish.

St. Michael’s School provides a Hot Lunch Program to its students (optional). Lunch order forms are sent home with students every two weeks. Families must pre-order lunch and pay by cash or check made payable to St. Michael’s School. No extras are ordered.
